Collier Webb | Claridges | 2020

During 2020 I worked with a local Eastbourne firm, Collier Webb, who design & manufacture bespoke lighting. The project involved the refurbishment being undertaken at Claridges Hotel in London and required three different luminaires to be designed.

The centre piece (below) was a magnificent pendant occupying the entrance lobbies in Brook Street. The other two luminaires were wall mounted; one featured a bespoke decorative glass panel, the other having an array of glass rods to scatter the light shining through them.

Collier Webb used a local artist to design and manufacture the bespoke glass panel for the wall luminaire.

All three luminaires were designed on SolidWorks and approved by the architect via Collier Webb. The manufacture, supply & install of all the luminaires was done by Collier Webb through their Eastbourne site which includes a foundry.
