Design, DFM & Prototyping to T1 samples

This project needed some DFM (Design for Manufacture) to be applied to a design for a housing that had already been started. A solution needed to be found to reliably seal the face around the connector. Using SolidWorks CAD the housing and base plate were tweaked to accommodate some changes to facilitate injection moulding. To solve the issue of the IP rating around the 12-pin Molex connector a small moulded part was designed and 3D printed for a perfect fit.
